Most of our cameras use 2.4 GHz WiFi, which offers better range through walls. Only some newer models (like the SC1 Pro) support dual-band 2.4/5 GHz. Check the model specifications before purchase.
Where are my videos stored?
Two options: local storage on SD card (up to 256 GB) directly in the camera, or ieGeek Cloud (7 days free loop recording). Local storage is 100% private and doesn’t require internet to playback.
Does the warranty cover faulty batteries?
Yes, batteries are covered by the standard 12-24 month warranty (depending on model). If your battery significantly loses capacity within this period, contact our support with your proof of purchase.
Can I use an ieGeek camera without WiFi?
Yes! Our 4G LTE range (models ZY-G1, ZY-G2) works via mobile network – ideal for holiday homes, sheds or areas without WiFi coverage. A SIM card with data is included.
